Presidential poll: PDP wins in 17 LGs in Enugu and winning in Plateau


APC calls on INEC to cancel results.



ENUGU – Results for the presidential election in Enugu has been announced by the presidential collation officer,Prof. Hillary Edoga.
The result showed that the ruling party,Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, had a total of 553,003 votes while the major opposition party,All Progressives Congress,APC, scored a total of 14,157.

Breakdown of the result by Local Government Areas showed that PDP won with 22,669 votes in Aninri Local Government Area against APC’s 178

In Awgu PDP, polled 30,515 while APC secured 395 votes.

For the National Assembly election,in Enugu-North senatorial district,Mr. Chuka Utazi of PDP,polled 42,257, votes to win the seat while Joseph Okoloagu of APC, secured 8,354 vote. Chief Willy Ezugwu of All Progressives Grand Alliance,APGA, scored 10,574 votes

PLATEAU RESULTS:
Jos – Presidential results are trickling in from local government areas of Plateau state. So far, out of the 17 local government areas, 13 have brought in their results and at the time of this report, results were expected from four local government areas (Jos North, Kanam, Wase and Qua’an Pan).
Among the results collated and their scores for the two major Parties are:

Langtang South – PDP – 15,569 and APC – 7,977.

Riyom – PDP – 29,437 and APC – 5,291.

Jos East – PDP – 9,104 and APC – 10,875.

Jos South – PDP – 89,741 and APC – 22,490.

Barkin Ladi – PDP – 49,964 and APC – 11,765.

Bassa – PDP – 32,519 and APC – 22,625.

Kanke – PDP – 24,800 and APC – 8,063.

Langtang North – PDP -28,677 and APC – 9,416.

Bokkos – PDP – 32,155 and APC – 13,117.

Pankshin – PDP – 33,101 and APC – 11,558.

Mikang – PDP – 12,947 and APC – 4,909.

Shendam – PDP – 22,427 and APC – 25,839.

Mangu – PDP – 52,503 and APC – 43,487.

Meanwhile, the results of the National Assembly elections are still being sorted and yet to be announced.
